Politica Antiplagio

The Revista Multidisciplinaria Investigación Contemporánea follows the policies of the Committee in Publication Ethics (COPE; https://publicationethics.org) with the aim of defending transparency and good practices in the editorial process, preventing inappropriate conduct in the publication of articles and promoting quality academic and scientific production.

Authors are asked to declare, through the letter of originality and assignment of rights, that they hold the moral rights over the article and that it has not been sent for review or published, partially or totally, in any other national or foreign journal. If it has been deposited in any preprint server or in any congress, this should be made clear in the submission. The signatories are solely responsible for ensuring that their contribution complies with these requirements.

If a previous version of an article has been published previously, this should be expressly indicated in the notes. The new version must have substantial novelties and the reasons for its recovery must be stated. The journal will reject plagiarized articles, informing the authors and their institutions, as well as establishing regulations for authors about publishing in the journal.

The Latin American Network of Contemporary Research (REDLIC) verifies the content of the articles; it considers as original and unpublished those with similarity up to 12%, otherwise, they will be rejected for publication and will be removed from the journal's Open Journal System (OJS) database. Therefore, the authors accept that the manuscript be submitted to a similarity review by means of the TURNITIN software.
